Doug founded Page One in 1996 and is one of the most widely published photographers in the UK.
He began his career in Canada, where he worked for various editorial outlets and businesses. With his move to the UK, Doug gained extensive experience in the national media, being published in every UK paper and around the world.
He has a unique editorial approach to his work, and continues to explore his style and lead the business as Creative Director and one of the principal photographers.
He believes that people lie at the centre of all photography, and in clean images that are subject focused.
Doug is a keen yachtsman and can be found in his spare time offshore.
Abi is our client and marketing manager.
Having been with the company since 1996, she brings a wealth of customer service experience and knowledge to her role.
She has established and is responsible for Page One's archives and customer services, as well as leading our marketing.
With a BA Honours degree in design, she is a crucial part of our creative team and supervises the quality and delivery of our work, as well as overseeing and directing the work of the rest of our back office team.
When she's not working she enjoys long walks with her dog and time with her family.
David is our principle commercial photographer.
Starting his career on cruise ships, he then worked for national agencies prior to joining us. With huge amounts of work published worldwide, there are no location photography challenges that he can't cope with.
David is also a CAA qualified drone pilot for aerial photography.
David is very popular with our clients and brings a calm and controlled influence onto location. You can regularly see his work on billboards or buses around the UK.
A keen cyclist and runner, he’s taken part in various marathons plus the Coast to Coast in A Day – a 150 mile, Seascale to Whitby, cycling challenge.
A Nottingham native Tom has a keen interest in all things photography and video, as well as being a keen musician
Tom works mainly in video, however he can also shoot stills photography if needed on a project.
Well versed in most Adobe products Tom helps in the still post production environment as well as being one of our primary video editors.
Emma joins a long list of apprentices taken on by Page One over the past 20 years, and is now working as a senior production assistant and drone pilot in our team
With training in Photoshop and Premiere Pro, as well as advanced colour grading in Resolve, Emma is a keen photographer and filmmaker in her spare time, as well as a competitive kick-boxer and a fan of Formula 1.
You will see Emma in the field assisting on a lot of our shoots, and she also uses her skills in the studio on post production for both stills and video.
Charlotte first joined us as our apprentice.
Since graduating from that programme Charlotte has taken on the key role a Senior Editor and Graphic Artist.
Charlotte works retouching and editing material and creating new graphical content for both the stills and video sides of our business, including building animations for inclusion in customers’ work.
She also assists the photographers both on location and in the studio.
She has extensive experience in FCPX, After Effects and Photoshop.
